We’re chuffed that our farm conversion in Yorkshire has been shortlisted for the RIBA Regional Awards 2020! The list includes some fantastic work and we’re looking forward to seeing how everyone gets on.
Set on a spacious site in Yorkshire, this cluster of derelict farm buildings has been lovingly restored to create a new family home. The original barns are linked with new interventions including frameless glass links and a ‘floating’ weathering steel clad extension. Check out the rest of the project here.
Our House in Brixton was longlisted for the Don’t Move, Improve awards this year. The exhibition opened on February 11th with the awards ceremony and will be open until April 30th, at the Building Centre in London. We had a great evening browsing the brilliant projects and seeing the winners collect their awards!
“The exhibition features 113 projects completed in the last two years in Greater London, chosen for their exceptional creativity, cost-effectiveness, environmental considerations, contextual design and livability of space. Don’t Move, Improve! – now celebrating its 10th year – showcases the diversity and character of homes being re-designed in London to encourage homeowners to take on a project of their own. Find a wealth of inspiration including the seven winning projects from this year’s competition, a library of innovative materials used in the featured homes and a showcase of how different projects achieve the same goal or overcome common issues.”

We were chuffed to have Loxley Stables shortlisted in the Small Housing Development category at the Brick Awards 2019. The Brick Awards, which are organised by the Brick Development Association, are regarded as ‘the Oscars of the brick industry’. Thanks to York Handmade, who supplied the lovely linear bricks for this project, we were invited to attend the brilliant awards evening in London.
