Completed in 2018 – a weathered larch, timber frame extension to a cottage in the curtilage of a listed building. Clad in vertical larch boards of varied widths, the extension provides a new accessible shower room and bedroom to the existing cottage. A ‘fishtank’ frameless glass window with douglas fir bench seat makes a great reading nook with views down the garden and to the meadows beyond. Sliding glass doors allow flush access to the extended terrace and garden.
